Over the years, Delve has played a crucial role in enhancing productivity and collaboration by making it easier to find documents, view profiles, and connect with colleagues.

Retirement Announcement

As of December 16th, 2024, Microsoft Delve will be officially retired. Most of the features and value offered by Delve today are already available and improved in other experiences within Microsoft 365. The primary alternative is the Profile Cards in Microsoft 365, which offer a comprehensive view of user information and activities.

Transition to New Experiences

While there is no single application to replace Microsoft Delve, most of its functionalities will be available in Microsoft 365, surfacing mainly through the Profile Cards. Users can discover relevant documents on Office.com, view profile data across Microsoft 365, and edit their profiles through new and improved experiences. Organizational views and favorites are also accessible through Profile Cards and other Microsoft 365 services, ensuring a seamless transition from Delve to these new tools.
